Thornthwaite Farm is set on 150 acres of woodland designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest and a Special Area of Conservation. The land hosts rare orchids and mosses across lowland flower meadows, ancient woods, rocky outcrops, streams and rivers. Guests have access to a garden, outdoor furniture, a picnic area, and BBQ facilities, plus grocery deliveries are available.
Cottages & Accommodations
Each cottage offers views of the Lakeland Fells and a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, oven, microwave, fridge, toaster and tea/coffee making facilities.
